ACNE

Disorders/Deseases:

These pimply eruptions plague many young people during puberty and are partly caused by kidney trouble. For this reason strongly spiced, salted dishes and acid salads and drinks should be avoided. Salads should be prepared with sour cream. For acne 1 litre of Stinging Nettle tea should be sipped throughout the day.

External application: A  Horseradish vinegar is applied to the wet face and left on for ten minutes mornings and evenings. The shredded Horseradish is put into a bottle and wine or fruit vinegar is poured over it until the Horseradish is covered. This is left standing in a temperate room. Since it is used directly from the bottle without being strained, a sterilized plastic bottle with a perforated lid should be used. The Horseradish takes away the sharpness of the vinegar, the vinegar the hotness of the Horseradish, the result is a mild vinegar essence easily tolerated by the facial skin.
